AWT's Women's Technology Leadership Forum Presents:

Technology and the Current Economic Climate - How to Weather the Storm

Please join AWT Thursday, March 19th for an interactive panel discussion and hear highly experienced technology executives share their leadership perspectives, offer career strategies and advise during these times, learn how organizations are keeping up with today's highly competitive business climate, and how this economic climate is impacting IT staffing, partners and suppliers.

PANEL EXECUTIVES:

Dawn Trautman, VP IT Pacific Life

Dawn is currently responsible for IT, sales and marketing operations, and program planning and execution for the Life Division.  Hear how she is supporting the largest Division of Pacific Life as they change with the market place.

Colleen Wolf, CIO Reliance Steel

Colleen joined Reliance Steel this past year as the CIO.  Previous to this position she was a VP of IT at Starbucks and Mattel.  Reliance brought Colleen into this role to take their IT organization to the next level after several years without a focus on technology.

Jeanette Sanchez, Executive in transition

Jeanette was previously a VP of IT at Mattel for six years responsible for many international project efforts.  She has experienced first hand the changes going on in IT organizations as they start to centralize and outsource.  Hear how she is managing her transition.

Lelah Neppell, Microsoft Business Executive

Lelah has spent several years helping companies across Southern California realize and achieve their goals through the use of Microsoft solutions. Hear her perspectives on how this climate is changing companies and their partner relationships.

These topics and speakers should provide relevant insight to IT professionals at all levels, from developers to project managers, analysts to directors.  As well those professionals who support IT organizations from staffing, recruiting, to product vendors should find significant value.  This will also be a great opportunity for college students who are preparing to graduate, and high school students who are considering a technology career.
